At Barkvenger Dachshunds, our puppies are raised right here in our home as part of our family.
We believe the first weeks of a puppy's life are about much more than simply growing. They're an important time for learning, exploring, socializing, and becoming comfortable with the world around them.
Our puppies receive daily love and attention while being introduced to different people, experiences, sounds, and routines.
We want each puppy to leave our home with a strong foundation and a positive beginning as they start their life with their furever family.
Our goal is simple: raise happy, loved, well-socialized Dachshunds and give each one the best beginning we can. ❤️
Our puppies experience plenty of interaction during their time with us.
Our puppies are socialized around children and receive gentle handling and attention.
They have opportunities to interact with other dogs, helping them become familiar with canine companionship.
Because our puppies are raised in our home, they experience the sights and sounds of everyday family life.
We introduce our puppies to turf at an early age as part of their early potty-training experience.
We introduce crate training so puppies become familiar with having a safe and comfortable place of their own.
As the puppies grow, they receive plenty of one-on-one attention, cuddles, and handling.
As the puppies grow, so does their world.
At three weeks and beyond, they begin experiencing more interaction, new surroundings, different sounds, toys, and more opportunities for socialization.
By around six weeks, they receive plenty of individual attention and cuddles as their personalities really begin to emerge.
We love watching each puppy grow from a tiny newborn into the little Dachshund they are becoming.
And because we know their personalities so well by the time they're ready to leave, we're happy to share what we've observed with their future families.
At 8–9 weeks, our puppies are ready to begin the next chapter of their lives with their forever families. 🐾❤️
