My love for Dachshunds began more than 20 years ago, when I received my very first Dachshund as a birthday gift at 18 years old.
What started as the love for one very special dog grew into a lifelong passion for this amazing breed.
Over the years, I've come to appreciate just how much personality can fit into those little Dachshund bodies. Every one of them is different. Some are playful, some are cuddly, some are full of mischief, and some are perfectly happy making sure everyone knows exactly what they think!
And then there's that famous Dachshund excitement — the little dances, the happy greetings, and those moments that make you stop and laugh.
After more than two decades of loving and living with Dachshunds, Barkvenger Dachshunds is a reflection of that lifelong love.
Today, our puppies are raised in our home as part of our family, with the same love and appreciation for the breed that started this journey all those years ago.
We don't just love Dachshunds for how adorable they are. We love them for who they are — their personalities, their loyalty, their determination, and all the joy they bring into our lives.
And that's the kind of beginning we want for every puppy we raise.
